Experience a taste of the country markets in the heart of the city throughout October. Sydneysiders should come and meet the Darlinghurst locals at this series of night markets with a twist. Each Thursday evening in October, Eat & Meet @ Taylor Square will transform the ever popular hangout as part of CRAVE Sydney International Food Festival. The event will provide a selection of food stalls. Feast on tapas, tribal hotpots or seafood paella. Or why not try one of the organic Earth Plates on offer? Follow all of this with sweet French crepes or hooking into the array of Serendipity ice creams available. Perch yourself on one of the long communal tables aglow with candles, sit comfortably on Middle Eastern-style cushions or even bring your own seating. Entertainment will also be provided, with everything from folk artists, visual art projections, workshops and live art.
